You may not always like it (and that's OKAY)

There's this idea that every meditation should be blissful, that you sit like a little Buddha with a smile on your face.

Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Both are good.

So don't worry if you can't find instant peace, or if your mind gets busy and noisy. You didn't do anything wrong, and you didn't fail in meditation. Sometimes it's difficult. It's really hard.

Other times it's beautiful.

Don't love every minute, but know that every minute spent in meditation is not wasted.

Even if you're not particularly enjoying it at the time, the benefits of meditation, calmness, clarity, center, build over time, whether you're in cosmic bliss or not.

So don't expect it to be easy, or fun, but take it as a check to get to know yourself over time.

Notice how anxious, calm, or tense you feel today, and accept yourself at that moment instead of trying to satisfy meditative thoughts.

You'll do great. Go ahead:)
