SOMETHING ABOUT PRACTICING YOGA
One of the best things about practicing yoga is that there are so many layers to explore. It really is for everyone. Even yogis who practice for years will continue to learn and grow as our practice changes with the ups and downs of our lives! It's exciting. It is nutritious.
If you practice consistently, your physical and mental awareness will increase. Remember: When you feel "behind" or "can't do" something, be kind to yourself and trust that it's only temporary, part of the journey. When we can learn to embrace where we are right now, and we free ourselves from doubt, fear, and anxiety, we can be grateful for the wonderful life we are about to create and enjoy.
Treat yourself. Give yourself opportunities to learn new things, meet new people, and challenge yourself in environments outside of your comfort zone. It's easy to get into the habit of how, where, and what to practice. Instead, choose to change it!
It's not easy to accept the peace of meditation, but then again, what good does "easy" bring?
