When we live in the highest state of meditation, we are living mindfully. We feel powerful, relaxed, focused, receptive, creative, and happy. People of all ages and traditions have reached this point. Buddhists and YOGis PRACTICE universal meditation, and their love is released from the heart to shine upon all sentient beings, including those suffering from pain and misfortune. Jesus said, "You should love God with all your heart, but also with your soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself." Another book, The Cloud of Unknowing, was written by an English monk who said, "God cannot be known by thought but only by love." Such wisdom is available to all of us; We can find it by practicing meditation.
